Project details
State-of-the-art HVAC and utilities installation for large scale modern dairy processing facility.
The project was for a €150m greenfield, state-of-the-art dairy processing and development facility occupying 25,000m2 on a 21 hectare site. It processes three million litres of milk per day into powdered milk products. The facility includes milk intake, separation, pasteurisation, evaporation, drying and packaging operations. The facility incorporates an administration/lab building (1,600m2, two-storey, 11m in height), a production building (20,000m2, five-storey, 45m in height including a raw materials single-storey warehouse, a goods-out warehouse, and a milk intake building) and a utility building (1,670m2, 12m in height).
The scope of Leo Lynch works was installation, testing and commissioning of all HVAC and utilities installation within the new facility, including steam, condensate, LPH, specialist gases distribution, compressed air, domestic water, tower water generation, tower water distribution, dust extraction system, HVAC site-wide, fan coil units, and VRVs/close control units for comms.
